This post will be short, but sweet.
Please allow me to introduce Scooby, our latest Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy in training. Today, he turns 3 months old. Scooby is wicked smart and already showing he is well-suited for the important job in his future.
Scoobs is mighty special and I know this won’t be the last time I talk about him on this blog, so I’m keeping this post short. Every morning, Scooby greets me with a playful attitude, lots of puppy kisses, and his sweet puppy breath. So, in celebration his 3 month birthday, I’m giving a great big shout out of gratitude for all the joy this sweet pup brings into our lives.
What are you celebrating today?
I’m celebrating sunshine (even) though it’s still kinda cold outside, with projected high in the 50s) today while I contemplate visiting a local indoor flea market with my husband this afternoon. I’m glad he’s been busy over the last year or two, but we really need to get some of the beautiful burl wood clocks he’s made out of the garage. If we find similar quality items for sale at the flea market, maybe we’ll be able to do that next month.
My sister celebrates her senior dog, which she adopted from the “Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary. In my family, there are only old creatures. We don’t have the energy or the patience to handle the young ones anymore! Maybe we’ll find some again when we get two legged grandchildren?

Sunshine on crisp days is some of my favorite kind of sunshine.

So adorable.
Today, I celebrate a day and a half with my Silver Star. It’s not much time, but it’s simultaneously enough to sustain for a long, long time. 🙂

Sounds like bliss. Life is sweeter when we savor the bites we get.
